Description from the 1997 consumer catalog...
"This affordable folder from Spyderco and Jess Horn provides functionality in a custom design. The handle is made from lightweight fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin and includes the name "Jess Horn" in a continuous pattern across the front scale for grip. A black stainless steel clip with a gold Spyderco logo compliments the handle. The hollow-ground blade is formed in a spearpoint style, and the hole in the blade combines with a precision front lock to facilitate smooth one-hand opening action. A high-tech gentleman's knife, the Jess Horn lightweight is appropriate for daily use and special affairs."
