...A unique piece for sure. The first of the "credit card" knives. The knife was designed by Eduard Bradichansky, a Russian Israeli toolmaker. A brilliant and skilled man. He was killed by Hamas in the West Bank and his car was burned. He was identified because he had the prototypes for the "SpyderCard" and "Shabaria" models (which he designed) and the metal parts didn't burn.[1]

SC01 SpyderCard
"If you leave home without it, you’ll wish you hadn’t. The Spyderco SpyderCard (model SC01) brings to market a full sized folding knife with similar dimensions to a credit card. Tucked in a wallet or purse, the slim SpyderCard carries just like another piece of plastic money, adding no bulk or noticeable weight. It is another unique design by the late Israeli custom knifemaker Eduard Bradichansky, it is just 2-7/8”(72mm) long and the blade is crafted of AUS-6 steel. The SC01 comes in two blade configurations; a fully PlainEdge or PlainEdge/SpyderEdge combination. Both feature the Spyderco Trademark Round Hole for easy and accessible one hand opening. The stainless steel handle is pancake-flat with rounded edges offering enough surface area to make this model well suited for engraving and other customization. A round hole on the front of the handle allows access to disengage the LinerLock securing the knife in the open position. Overall weight is just 3.3 oz. (93g) making it an inconspicuous travel companion. The SpyderCard comes packaged in a highly visible clam pack. Limited Quantities: Availability based on demand'"[2]
