FB34 Reverse

Craig Douglas, aka “Southnarc,” and Michael Janich are both highly respected personal-defense instructors with very different approaches to knife tactics. Despite their differences of opinion, the two are in fact good friends who decided to co-design a knife that would work equally well with both their methods. The result of that collaboration is the Reverse™.

The defining characteristic of the Reverse is its unique reversible handle that allows the orientation of the blade’s edge to be changed from Douglas’ preferred edge-in orientation to Janich’s edge-out style while maintaining the same highly evolved handle ergonomics. The handle consists of two textured G-10 scales machined to create a hollow cavity for the blade tang. Removing the three bolts in the handle with a Torx® T-8 wrench (included) allows the scales to be easily removed and mounted to the tang with the blade’s edge in either orientation.

The Reverse’s blade is precision machined from CTS® BD1 stainless steel. Its slightly concave edge profile and full-flat grind give it a very acute point and an extremely aggressive low-drag edge geometry. To facilitate convenient carry and quick access, the Reverse includes a custom-molded Boltaron® sheath that is specially designed to allow the knife to fit securely with both handle configurations. An angle-adjustable G-Clip™ attachment provides both belt and inside-the-waistband carry to support a broad range of carry preferences.[1]
