The C56 was introduced in 1999 and has dual liners, [[Spear Point Blade]] and black beadblasted [[Micarta]] scales. 
The knife was reissued in 2001 this time with a [[VG-10]] blade and in [[PE]] and with a ever so slightly thicker blade (3mm as opposed to 2.5mm).
