Spyderco catalogs and product guides have become an important archive and source of information on all Spyderco products. Many of the older catalogs have been scanned by fans and collectors, which were shared via the Spyderco online discussion forums. Special thanks to forum members Ted, b-elliott, Rob , JD Spydo ,Hannibal Lecter, KCC, Peter1960 and Rycen for many of these scanned catalogs, product guides and flyers.

Spyderco Product Guides

These catalogs provide the complete product line available for a specific year. From 2000 until 2005, Spyderco offered product guides specifically to dealers (Dealer catalogs) which were usually in a bigger size and sometimes featured extra products, compared to the generally more compact catalogs for individual customers or end-line users (PDR gatalogs).

Spyderco Reveal Program

In 2019, Spyderco launched the Reveal Program to supplant the previous practice of publishing mid-year product guides and supplement. See the Spyderco reveal program for a complete overview.

Spyderco Mid-Year Product Guides and Supplements

Since many new Spyderco product come out during the year, starting in 2005 Spyderco published these Mid-Year Product Guides to provide customers an updated overview of their products for a specific year. These mid-year supplements ended in 2018, when they were repleaced by the Spyderco reveal program.

Spyderco SAS and Op-Focus Product Guides

The SAS, or Save and Serve, catalogs featured restricted knives specifically for law enforcement, rescue and military customers. The Op-Focus product guides were also specifically aimed at military and law enforcement personell - they offer an overview of the Spyderco product line with an 'operational focus'.

Sprint Run Flyers

Spyderco formally started their Sprint Run program in 2006, wich were initially marketed via these flyers. Later, these sprint run knives were incorporated in mid-year catalogs and regular product guides.

Ironstone Distinctive Bladeware Catalogs

The precursor to the current Spyderco Factory Outlet store was the Ironstone Distinctive Bladeware store. Their catalogs featured Spyderco product as well as other knife brands. Sometimes, specific Spyderco knives were offered in a special edition via these catalogs.

Golden Edge Cutlery Catalog

Golden Edge Cutlery was likely a precursor to Ironstone Distinctive Bladeware and later the Spyderco Factory Outlet:

Miscellanious flyers and catalogs

Byrd product guides, supplements and flyers

In 2006, Spyderco launched their Byrd series of knives, tools and sharpening products. Specific catalogs for the Byrd line were offered from 2006 until 2007, before these products were integrated in the annual Spyderco product guides.
