The wire clip sits in recessed grooves in the liners and is held in by one small screw. It comes in both silver (non-coated) and black coated versions, as well as standard and "deep-pocket" carry. It appears that most styles of wire clips are interchangeable (the Q model and the Salsa have unique clips that are not interchangeable with other wire-clip knives).
