*1989 My Dad and I moved our machine shop from California to Clackamas Oregon and did some machining on parts for Benchmade. *1993 Moved machine shop to Golden Colorado and became partners with Sal (Golden Manufacturing) *1996 Sold Golden Manufacturing to Sal, and worked for Spyderco as their Product Development Manager. *1997 Started a small machine shop BCT Precision and worked with knife makers in the evenings and weekends, still working for Spyderco. *2001 Moved to Washington and set up Blade-Tech’s Knife factory. While at Spyderco, amongst a lot of other things, Mr. Ford handbuilt the first Prototypes of what was then called the Trak'r but which took a very long time before finally beeing produced and then as the C74 Ocelot
