E.g: Starting with Gin-1 then changing to G-2?
Quite sure that 1992 it changed from no steel bladestamp to "G-2"
and in 1994 it changed from "G-2" to "Gin-1". Was a marketing thing,
see for example the reference in C07 Police for part of the story.
It occurs and is listed in many of the earlier model articles, needs
cleanups and better references. (Marcel comment)

Seems it was Gin-1, then G-2, then back to Gin-1.
