Chris Reeve Style Integral Lock uses a springy bar, split from the handle to wedge laterally against a ramped surface on the tang of the blade. Similar in function to a Walker linerlock. The differentiation is that the Linerlock uses a piece of the liner (which resides underneath the handle material) to act as the spring, whereas the Reeve Integral Lock uses the actual handle material itself to act as the spring.
