ATS-34, the forerunner of ATS-55. Slightly worse edgeholding and toughness than ATS-55, it's still a great steel for knifeblades. In Spyderco knives ATS-34 was replaced by ATS-55. The ATS-34 has been used on several Spyderco knives, amongst them, the C36 Military Taken from the spyderco.com forums and reprinted with kind permission from author [1]
