Tri-Angle Sharpmaker 203

Spyderco's first cutlery product, the Tri-Angle Sharpmaker enables even the inexperienced to attain professional sharpening results with ease. The stones measure 7" in length and are formed in a unique triangular shape to hone both serrated and plain edges. Each stone incorporates a groove for sharpening pointed objects such as fish hooks and darts (see diagram). When the stones are placed in the keyed holes on the ABS injection-molded base and a simple slicing motion is used, the Sharpmaker provide s for effective angle control when sharpening knives. The stones can be set at 20 degrees for a 40degrees knife bevel, at 12.5 degrees (scissors angle), or at 0 degrees (flat angle) to accommodate virtually any sharpening task. The medium and fine grit stones may be purchased separately or as part of a set. Each of the five set options includes brass rods that protect the user's hand during sharpening and a detailed instruction manual. [1]
